Everyone loves a good brownie - that perfect balance of fudgy goodness and rich, chocolatey flavor. If you've been on a quest for the best brownie recipe out there, look no further.

Ingredients You'll Need:

  • 1 cup olive oil

  • 3 cups granulated sugar

  • 4 large eggs at room temperature

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 1 & 1/2 cups black cocoa powder (regular cocoa works too!)

  • 1 & 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 & 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup powder sugar

  • 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips

  • 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all your ingredients on the kitchen counter.

Step 2: Mix the Wet Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, cream together the olive and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Step 3: Incorporate the Dry Ingredients

Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, chocolate chips and powder sugar. Fold the dry ingredients gently into the wet mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Step 4: Bake to Perfection

Preheat your oven to 325°F. Grease 9"x13" baking pan and pour the brownie batter into it. Smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for about 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Step 5: Let it Cool and Enjoy!

Once baked, let the brownies cool in the pan for a while before cutting them into squares, optionally top with powder sugar!

Tips for the Perfect Brownie:

  • Don't Overmix: Stir the batter until the dry ingredients are just incorporated to keep your brownies fudgy.

  • Use Quality Cocoa: Opt for high-quality cocoa powder for a richer chocolate flavor.

  • Add Your Twist: Experiment with toppings like nuts, chocolate chips, or a caramel drizzle for a unique touch.

Happy baking, friends!
