1. Gather Your Ingredients

To embark on this sweet adventure, you will need:

  • 2 cups of heavy cream

  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)

  • 1 tbsp of sugar

  • 8 ounces of cream cheese softened

  • 2 tbsp of vanilla extract

  • 20 Oreo cookies, chopped

  • 1/2 cup of hot fudge sauce (homemade or store bought!)

2. Let the Magic Begin

In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream and half of the sweetened condensed milk (7 ounces) until stiff peaks form. This step is crucial for achieving that creamy and airy texture in your ice cream. Put the whipped cream in the fridge while you do the next step

In a separate bowl mix together the softened cream cheese, vanilla, tbsp of sugar and the other 7 ounces of sweetened condensed milk.

Gently fold the cream cheese mixture into the whipped cream

Finally add the chopped Oreo cookies (saving a few to top the ice cream with) and swirl the hot fudge sauce into the whipped mixture.

3. Freeze and Enjoy!

Transfer the mixture into a freezer safe container and top with Oreos! Let it freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight

Once the ice cream is frozen to creamy perfection, scoop out and top with extra Oreo cookies or a drizzle of fudge sauce!

Father's Day

This is my husband's first fathers day and we will be celebrating at home on the front porch with a big bowl of this ice cream. Celebrating special moments at home can be a wonderfully cozy and a deeply meaningful experience....especially when it involves the people you love the most and homemade ice cream. I hope you are creating traditions and memories this summer that you will truly cherish!
